HOUSING REHABILITATION AND ADVOCACY SERVICES
CADCB recognizes that affordable, quality housing is the foundation of a healthy, thriving community.
Through partnerships with the City of Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley Community Land Trust, Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley’s Community Action Financial Services program, and Lehigh University, CADCB works to improve the quality of south Bethlehem’s housing stock, encourage homeownership, and empower residents to participate in decision-making processes regarding their community.
CADCB’s residential façade improvement program has completed 15 façades on Hayes Street and Wyandotte Street, and continues to complete approximately four to six façades per year in strategically targeted neighborhoods of south Bethlehem.
CADCB staff work with south Bethlehem residents to identify neighborhood housing challenges and develop community-driven solutions.
Through a partnership with Community Action Financial Services, CADCB offers First-Time Homebuyer Seminars and pre-purchase and pre-settlement counseling to first-time homebuyers in south Bethlehem. Foreclosure prevention services are also available. Learn more at https://caclv.org/housing-assistance/
